Big news for Central Texas travelers: Delta Air Lines announced today that it will launch Austin’s first-ever nonstop service to Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) beginning March 27, 2027. The new daily seasonal flight from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) will operate aboard Delta’s Airbus A330-900neo, giving Austin travelers a much easier way to reach Paris and connect throughout Europe without first flying through another U.S. gateway.
For travelers planning Europe in summer 2027, this route opens up some exciting possibilities. Spend a few nights in Paris before joining a Seine, Rhône, Rhine, or Danube river cruise, or use Paris as the beginning of a longer European vacation before heading south for a Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona, Rome, Athens, or another European port. For Central Texas travelers, getting from Austin to Europe just became a whole lot easier—and summer 2027 is already shaping up to be a great year to go.
